Dragon Ball Super Manga Chapter 76 Soilers BARDOCK Involved!???
We finally have spoilers for Dragon Ball Super Manga Chapter 76 and boy is this going to be an awesome next chapter! We have action, action, surprises, action, and Bardock??? The father of Goku!? Yes we do! We will get into that in a bit. Let’s go ahead and get into the spoilers. If you don’t wish to be spoiled sorry but you shouldn’t have clicked on this article clearly titled “Spoilers”.
So the fight between Granolah and Ultra Ego Vegeta continues with Granolah knocking Vegeta around eventually to the point he falls out of Ultra Ego and into Blue. Goku then shows up as Vegeta is about to get completely demolished by Granolah. Goku is currently in Super Saiyan Blue when he does this and not Ultra Instinct.
Goku tells Vegeta he will now take care of Granolah and Vegeta is having none of it. This then leads to Goku and Vegeta fighting over who gets to fight Granolah. No, like actually fighting. Vegeta kicks Kakarot (Goku) in the side and sends him flying against a drum of water. Vegeta then goes up to Goku and punches him in the face telling him to stay out of it.
While Goku and Vegeta argue, Granolah sneaks up on Vegeta and attempts to pierce Vegeta’s abdomen with the palm of his hand. Goku luckily responds in time and then pushes Vegeta out of the way with a shockwave. During this Granolah only managed to scathe Vegeta a little bit.
Vegeta then gets sent flying into a house and seems to be unconscious. Granolah is not playing around. Goku then jumps back in and continues his fight with Granolah for a bit. Granolah moves to Gokus back and attempts to use that pressure point nonsense on Goku again and Goku is not having it. He strengthens his neck and Granolah lands his hit right where Goku was focusing his ki.
Goku then falls to the ground and falls back into his base form but little does Granolah know our man Goku is faking and tricks Granolah, making a fool out of the Cerealian. Oh and by the way the ground is full of water. Granolah proceeds to leave thinking he bested Goku but Goku gets up and tosses a ki blast at Granolah when he isn’t paying attention straight at Granolah’s back. Granolah is now furious although he has been furious and unreasonable this whole battle.
Granolah then retaliates attempting to pierce Goku’s abdomen with his hand and Goku proceeds to strengthen his abdomen to eat the hit. This works and stops Granolah’s attack from working. Our genius Goku then gets Granolah back with a solid punch to the stomach. Our man Vegeta gets back up from his nap and see’s that Goku and Granolah are fighting. Despite Goku facing up to Granolah, Granolah kicks Goku to the ground and Goku returns to his normal form, for real this time.
Vegeta proceeds to tell Goku to back off and let him fight his way against Granolah. Goku accepts Vegeta’s request and asks Vegeta not to die in this fierce battle he is about to enter back into. Vegeta proceeds to transform back into his Ultra Ego form and Granolah is surprised to see Vegeta coming back for more.
The battle then moves to the Sugarian city. Granolah tells Vegeta to go somewhere else but Vegeta refuses knowing he can play mental mind games if this is where their battle takes place. The battle proceeds and they are going back at it just as hard as before. Granolah punches Vegeta, and Vegeta bites Granolah’s arm. Wait, that’s Goku’s technique! Okay memes aside lets move on.
Granolah slams Vegeta to the ground and steps on Vegeta’s arms and then proceeds to fire ki blasts at point blank range right in Vegeta’s face. How Vegeta is not dead after this is beyond me. Granolah then sits on the ground because he is completely exhausted. All three of them have been fighting their hearts out so it is understandable.
Suddenly Granolah sees a wall of houses collapse and a Sugarian mother with her child inside and she looks at Granolah terrified. Granolah is having PTSD and then begins to have a flashback to when the genocide of the Sugarians happened and we see Granolah as a child running away from the city during the Saiyan’s attack. Granolah runs into a church and meets his mother. They both hug and a noise interrupts them and they proceed to look at something horrified.
We then come back to the present and Vegeta gets back up. Granolah completely enraged then punches Vegeta sending him out of the city. Granolah is about to kill Vegeta and starts focusing all his energy into one giant ki ball but an exhausted Vegeta is willing to attempt to resist Granolah’s finishing attack. Goku proceeds to run up to them but he is completely exhausted, as they all are.
Out of nowhere a spaceship appears flying at full speed next to Goku. Inside is a Namekian named Monite and the ship is being piloted by Granolah’s robot Oatmeel. Goku attempts to stop Granolah from killing Vegeta but he can’t. Monite opens the ship and yells out to Granolah and Granolah is surprised to see him. Goku attacks Granolah puts a stop to his giant ki ball. The ship lands, Monite gets out, and then proceeds to yell what may be the most awesome line of the entire chapter, maybe even the entire arc so far. Monite yells “40 years ago, the one who saved us was a Saiyan called Bardock!” and this is the end of chapter 76.
This chapter is going to truly be insane and I am looking forward to it’s release. Finding out how Bardock is involved with all this and giving him more back story is something almost every fan is going to want. Let’s remember though that this is the Dragon Ball Minus retconed Bardock and noth the Bardock from the Father of Goku movie. Let’s also not forget that Goku does not know who his father is and has never cared. We are going to get into more history of the Saiyans and Goku will hopefully finally learn about his father and realize his father wasn’t a bad guy like his brother Raditz was. This is going to be so awesome!
